Beverley became the Organist and Director of Choirs at Christ The King in 2012. She leads our Adult Choir, Bell Choir and Children’s choir, providing special music throughout the year and accompanies the 8:30 Worship Service on our Casavant Opus 3108 Pipe Organ. Beverley received her Masters of Music from East Carolina University and served congregations in North Carolina before moving to Virginia when her husband Michael received a call to serve as pastor of May Memorial Baptist Church in Powhatan. Beverley has three children and three pianos. (I made that up – I don’t know how many pianos she has) In her first year at Christ The King she developed a children’s choir that inspires all of our faith on a regular basis with the beautiful sounds of little ones lifting their voices to God.
